The Governor’s Executive Order N-33-20 directing individuals to stay home or at their place of residence exempts workers in critical infrastructure sectors.
on March 19, 2020, the California State Public Health Officer published a list of exempted sectors. That list can be found in the attachment.
Included in a long list of exempted “essential” sectors are:
* Housing construction (page 11)
* Retail stores that support essential sectors (page 11)
* Financial services including insurance (page 12)
* Transporters (page 7)
Based on these exemptions it is my understanding that the four sectors of the manufactured housing industry can continue operations and are exempted from the stay home order.
