As detailed in Special Bulletin 2011-05 Riverside County, on February 22, 2011, passed an ordinance requiring fire sprinkler systems in manufactured homes sited in the unincorporated areas of the County.

Riverside County has agreed to our request that the date of manufacture of the home be the trigger that determines if a new home is required to have fore sprinklers.

The fire sprinkler requirement applies to all homes installed within or outside a M/H park in the unincorporated area of the County.
