On July 7, 2011 Governor Brown signed Assembly Bill 29 (Blumenfield) which requires Emergency Regulations to establish Fire Protection Fee in an amount not to exceed $150.00 per structure in fire protection areas that are designated State responsibility.

Effective Date: Beginning of fiscal 2011/12

Emergency Regulations Date: September 1, 2011

Amount: Not to exceed $150.00 per structure annually

“Structure”: A building used or intended to be used for human habitation. Includes, but is not limited to, a Mobilehome or manufactured home.
