Special Bulletin
- Effective January 1, 2017
- Existing ADU ordinances became null and void
- Local governments must apply the new state standards (SB 1069, AB 2299 & AB 2406)
- Or adopt an ordinance that is in compliance
- Local governments may not adopt an ordinance that precludes ADU’s
- Manufactured homes qualify as an ADU
