San Diego County is waiving $15,000 in permit and development fees for accessory units.
The county is also currently offering two no contest permit ready floor plans with plans to develop more free floor plans
in the near future.
According to the county existing lots can accommodate approximately 172,000 accessory dwelling units!
Manufactured Housing manufacturers have dozens of floor plans which could help San Diego County meet its goal of providing affordable housing.
