Proposed Amended Rule 1111
Reduction of NOx Emissions from Natural Gas-Fired, Fan-Type Central Furnaces
The South Coast Air Quality Management District (South Coast AQMD) is proposing to amend Rule 1111 to provide additional time for an existing compliance option for mobile home furnaces. This amendment is separate from the previous June 2025 proposal which was not adopted by the South Coast AQMD Governing Board. The new proposed amendments are necessary to provide manufacturers time for redevelopment and regulatory relief for the mobile home owners in the interim.
A Public Workshop will be held to present and solicit information and suggestions from the public regarding Proposed Amended Rule 1111, which is scheduled for a Public Hearing before the South Coast AQMD Governing Board on January 9, 2026 (subject to change). The Public Workshop is scheduled for:
